This photo.....I was serving in the Corps at the time I first saw this picture and it choked me up immediately. I instantly saw my son in this young lads position (I am getting misty writing this thinking about it). It is still an extremely powerful image to me personally.

It is a very powerful image, and a constant reminder of the price some pay for our freedom. Not just those who fell in battle but also the loved ones they left behind.
That photo came out when I was still in uniform and my son was about that age. I got choked up then thinking of him in that position. The picture still chokes me up every time I see it.
