A while back, I related the story about how a future President was credited with saving the day in a Civil War (is there anything civil about war?) battle with his timely delivery of hot coffee to the Union troops during the lull in a battle. William McKinley, 25th President of the United States, used the incident to help his campaign during his run.
Well, while perusing the interwebs I cam across a reference to a memorial and had to check it out. Located in Sharpsburg Maryland, on the Antietim battle field, is a monument to none other than, you guessed it, coffee boy extraordinaire....William McKinley!!!
I found my next road trip!!!

Interesting!
I really hope the scum leave alone places like Gettysburg and Antietam and all the rest. Those were not the people to mess around with. They didn't believe in getting even. They believed in killing everything that got in their way.
