Ain't it the truth?

Ya know?  I was just thinking about this very thing.  The one thing that has changed in my life is that I am now working from home vice driving 10 minutes to my office.  Other than that, nothing has changed.  It has made me realize that I do spend a LOT of time at home and not out.

What would either of these men think about what the government, on both the state and national levels, is doing?  One can read their quotes but I find that, just like you can find a quote in the Bible to justify anything you want to do, their words can likewise can be twisted.  

The Legend of Joe

Legend has it that "coffee" got the nickname of "Joe" when in 1914, Secretary of the Navy Josephus Daniels banned alcohol on board Navy ships.  Up until that time, rum was a daily ration for Sailors.  So the only thing left, the strongest thing, was coffee.  The Sailors began calling it "Joe" as a form of mockery. 

No matter how coffee became known as Joe, the name stuck.

The news is full of stories of shelters being emptied of the dogs and cats they were housing.  If you are one of those that sought the companionship and love of one of these pets, please, do not let this happen to them again.
